Welcome to the website dedicated to His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatheertha Mahaswamigal, a Jivanmukta, an ocean of compassion and a Yogi par excellence who adorned the Dhakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetham as its 35th pontiff. He is an ideal definition of the term Acharyal; the term Acharyal refers to one who has understood the meaning of the scriptures, Himself practices what is stipulated therein and induces others to follow suit. His life and teachings are so noble and profound that they are worthy of remembrance everyday. He is a perfect example of the following delightful verse from the Vivekachoodamani:

(There dwell calm, great noble ones who move about effecting, like the spring season, what is beneficial to people. Having themselves crossed the dreadful ocean of transmigratory existence, they, without any motive, cause other persons too to cross over).
